Uralkali has collected up to 13 million dollars from the racing team for terminating the contract with Nikita Mazepin.
Uralkali has received from the Formula 1 team Haas the full amount that should have been paid by the decision of the Swiss Arbitration Tribunal after the early unilateral termination of the sponsorship contract, as well as the team’s racing car. This was reported on the Uralkali website.
Uralkali has notified the Dutch government authorities of the possibility of lifting the seizure of Haas assets, which will allow the team to take them out of the country,” the statement said.
In March 2022, the American team Haas terminated its contract with Uralkali, which was the title sponsor, as well as with Russian driver Nikita Mazepin due to the fighting in Ukraine.

The day before, Motorsport reported that Haas was unable to remove the racing cars and other equipment from the Dutch town of Zandvoort, where the Formula 1 round took place last weekend, because it had missed a payment deadline and Uralkali had asked to seize the racing team’s property.
