Since no answer was provided, the journalists went to the AGR Group office, where they met Samvel Khidiryan. He then said that his brother Misak was abroad in order to obtain European citizenship.
He also denied information about Misak Khidiryan’s Russian citizenship, noting that he has an Armenian passport. He did not specify what citizenship he was supposed to have in Europe. Probably, we are talking about citizenship of the Republic of Cyprus.

At the same time, Samvel confirmed that he has a Russian passport and that he turned to Ukraine with a request to obtain citizenship. Before that, he lived in Ukraine with a certificate.
It should be noted that the companies that are part of Misak Khidiryan’s AGR Group are involved in criminal proceedings: law enforcement officers are investigating facts of tax evasion, fraud and money laundering.
